Community Outreach

The school had numerous fundraisers for Dylan to help raise money for his cancer. There was the egg wars, which Iziko and Ivan brought to us from where they transferred from. The students that were the finalists were Aubrey Rhodes and Maddie Angell, but Aubrey won. Then, there was a rock paper scissors war. During the assembly on Friday they did a rock paper scissors relay race. The race included the staff and the students. The winning student team was composed of students: Dylan Myas, Damion Knowles, Sky Depeel, Juliann Ray, and Emily Anger. The team members on the staff team was our principal, Mr. Naumcheff, and teachers Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Malloy, Mr. Sheridan, and Mrs. Derror. The Student Council also put together a bake sale and sold bracelets. The Mancelona High School community raised over $700 for Dylan.
